FlapBag: Tarpaulin bag on the road to success

Bags made from tarpaulin have become cult objects and are must-haves for promotional campaigns in the event scene sector. LorryBags are the original bags from HALFAR®. The FlapBag are a further development of these, and won the bronze medal at the 2005 Promotional Gift Awards in the Communicative Product category. The FlapBag is the halfway house between the cost-effective stock items and the boundless design possibilities that the LorryBag offers. Previously, it was only possible to print entire tarpaulin surfaces with complete Far-East production - which meant either long deliver times or expensive air freight.

The print size or number of colours was limited for local stock items. But not with the FlapBag. A flap, which is printed in Europe, is mounted onto a pre-manufactured bag body made from black polyester. This allows for a very short delivery time of just two to five weeks for special editions, with low prices and no air freight involved. All bags already contain inner pockets, front pockets, a mobile phone pocket and pen loops. The print area is as large as the flap itself; possible external materials include PVC sheeting with coloured offset printing, or tarpaulin in up to 40 colours. Besides decoration with brilliant prints, it is also possible to embroider the material.
