The Corona pandemic has limited all of us. Students could only learn the school material at home. Therefore the schools provided the teaching material and the first digital lessons took place. The exchange with teachers and classmates was also exclusively digital in the meantime.
Gradually, the pupils are now allowed back into the school buildings, but only under strict conditions. Since classes are not yet held daily again, there is still a great need for digital communication and learning media. This is because the precautions will continue to restrict the schools’ everyday life for a longer period of time, at least until the summer holidays.
However, a suitable PC or laptop is a prerequisite for digital learning. However, it cannot be taken for granted that every student has the appropriate technical equipment. Therefore the Zierold Stiftung donates 15 laptops worth about 5,400 Euro to the Realschule Heepen.
Notebook backpacks in addition to the laptops
In addition to the laptops, we have donated 15 durable and padded laptop backpacks, in which the notebooks and other learning material can be easily stowed. Armin Halfar explains: “We are happy to support this great fundraising campaign of the Zierold Foundation with padded and durable laptop backpacks so that the students can transport the equipment safely”.
The headmaster of the Realschule Heepen, Klaus Schweter, also expressed his pleasure: “We are very grateful to the Zierold Foundation that we can provide this hardware support to some selected students, especially in times of learning at a distance. The devices are lent to our students as needed, of course with reference to careful treatment. Thanks also to the company Halfar for the additional donation of the backpacks, which ensure that the equipment can be transported safely!
We are happy that our bags can once again be used for a good cause. You can read here, for example, what else our bags can do:
