    Apprenticeship as marketing communications specialist (m/f/d) 


    During your apprenticeship, you will focus on our marketing department. There you will familiarise yourself with all the important areas of marketing communication and work with our team to manage all communication tools and channels. 
    You will also gain an insight into departments such as graphics/media design, national and international sales, product management, design, purchasing and accounting. After a thorough induction, you will be able to actively support your department and take on your own projects. 
    Your training supervisors will be there for you for the entire duration of your training and will support you with day-to-day issues and, of course, with fundamental questions.

    Apprenticeship as a warehouse logistics expert (m/f/d) at Halfar in Bielefeld
    During your apprenticeship, you will gain a comprehensive insight into our logistics divisions and tasks, such as goods receipt, warehouse, order picking and dispatch. Our new logistics centre has a size of 7100 m² and is equipped with the latest technology. The 11,300 pallet spaces in the narrow-aisle warehouse are accessed by semi-autonomous forklift trucks. These receive the necessary information about their destination via a high-speed WLAN. After a thorough induction, you will be able to actively support your department and already take on your own tasks. Your training supervisors are there for you during the entire training period and support you with everyday questions and, of course, also with fundamental questions.

    Apprenticeship as Textile and Fashion Seamstress (m/f/d) 

    Apprenticeship as a textile and fashion seamstress (m/f/d) at Halfar in Bielefeld
    During your apprenticeship you will learn all the skills of sewing and tailoring from scratch. You will learn how to use different sewing machines and how to cut materials. You will get a comprehensive overview of the necessary work steps in detail, but also an insight into all related company areas. Through our product range, you will learn how to work with a wide variety of materials. Part of the apprenticeship is an assignment of at least two weeks in another international fashion company in the region. After a thorough induction, you will be able to actively support your department and already take on your own tasks. Your training supervisors are there for you during the entire training period and support you with everyday questions and, of course, also with fundamental questions.

    How can I apply?
    You are welcome to use our application form or send us an email to bewerbung@halfar.com.
    Michael Wellner, our managing director, is your contact for apprenticeships. You can find the contact below.
    Please submit your application documents either via our application form or by e-mail, preferably in the form of a coherent PDF file. Your application should include a cover letter, a current CV, if possible with a photo, your most recent references and interesting certificates.
    The apprenticeships usually start in August each year. Please apply about one year before the planned start of the training so that your application can be considered in any case. In individual cases, depending on availability, we may still be able to offer apprenticeships at short notice. You can find out whether your desired training place has already been allocated by entering the date in the corresponding job advertisement.
    After you have sent us your application, we will take our time to carefully review it. We therefore ask you for a little patience. If your application has convinced us, we will invite you to a first meeting. This can also take place online. If we feel that you would be a good fit for our team, we will invite you to a personal interview at our office. There will also be a short recruitment test. We will then give you feedback as soon as possible and hope to be able to welcome you as a new trainee soon.
    Halfar offers a "Bagground Day" so that you can get to know your new employer before the first day of your apprenticeship. Here we show you and your family the company and your future workplace in a relaxed atmosphere. This gives you a first impression and also gives you the opportunity to get to know the other trainees.
    With us, there is no specific requirement when it comes to school-leaving qualifications. We look much more at the overall package. When looking for trainees, we always make an individual case-by-case decision.
    An apprenticeship lasts two to three years, depending on the apprenticeship occupation. A shortening is possible under certain individual conditions. You will find information on the duration of your training in the respective job description.
    The school where your vocational school classes take place differs depending on the training. You will find the details in the respective job offer. We can also choose a different vocational school for you that is more suitable for your place of residence.
    Different vocational schools are responsible depending on the apprenticeship occupation. Often, vocational school instruction takes place "in blocks": This means that phases of instruction at the vocational school lasting several weeks alternate with practical phases at the workplace. In another variant, vocational school instruction takes place on one or two days per week. You will find details on this in the respective job advertisement.
    At Halfar we want our trainees to have a good start in their new job. From the welcome and orientation in the company to getting to know the other trainees as well as the contact persons and colleagues to the familiarisation in other departments - we accompany you step by step.
    During your apprenticeship, you will be supervised by your trainer in the specialist department and a contact person from the HR department. We are available to you at all times with open doors. In addition, feedback meetings are held at regular intervals. We also offer language support for non-native speakers.
    At Halfar there is no fixed quota for taking on trainees, but trainees who successfully complete their training have a good chance of being taken on. This is also shown by some of our success stories.
