Area of responsibility


  • Development and implementation of long-term e-commerce strategies for the B2B market
  • Identification of new business opportunities and market trends in e-commerce
  • Development and scaling of online sales to increase turnover
  • Responsibility for the continuous optimisation of the user experience and conversion rate
  • Monitoring and analysing e-commerce key figures (e.g. sales, customer acquisition, shopping basket size) and deriving optimisation potential
  • Working closely with the sales, marketing, product development, logistics and IT departments to organise online sales efficiently
  • Communication with external service providers and agencies (e.g. for web development, SEO, SEA)
  • Planning and managing the e-commerce budget

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration, marketing, e-commerce, or a comparable specialisation
  • Several years of professional experience in a leading e-commerce role, preferably in the B2B sector and/or in the advertising media industry 
  • Technical understanding of e-commerce platforms, web technologies and interfaces (e.g. APIs, CRM systems)
  • Experience in project management and implementation of e-commerce projects
  • Strong analytical skills, especially in the area of data analysis and KPI tracking
  • Strong understanding of the needs of B2B customers
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills 
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English
  • High level of self-motivation and ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
  • Creativity in developing new concepts and strategies
