THE HANSEBAG - THE BAG FROM THE COFFEE SACS

Sustainable instead of boring

Boy, come back soon, come back home soon... Seafaring romance, marvellous! This messenger bag certainly brings it to mind. Because something very special was sewn for the HanseBag: used coffee sacks. Just as each sack is unique in its print and trim, each bag is also one of a kind. A successful example of creative recycling and upcycling

Today, in the age of vintage style, the bags are almost as highly prized as their elegant interiors. Pinterest has its own pages with DiY ideas made from used coffee bags. No wonder, as they bring the aroma of coffee and, above all, the beautiful wide world into your home. You can see the plantations in your mind's eye, feel the waves on the endless expanse of the sea, hear old sailor's songs and the commands when unloading the cargo at the home harbour. Hamburg, my pearl! As you can see, a coffee sack is more than just a transport utensil. It is characterised by its history and authenticity. And that is precisely why it is so ideally suited as an advertising medium, as merchandising or as a gift.

Hansesack makes HanseBags - with HALFAR®

This is exactly what the Hansesack label from Hamburg's harbour city took advantage of. Together with HALFAR®, they realised the HanseBag in 2006 - and were among the first on the market for recycled coffee bags. With success: the idea and realisation won the Promotional Gift Award. The industry's award for particularly convincing and inspiring promotional products.

The HanseBag is not only well thought out, but also very well made. HALFAR® uses robust, black polyester for the body. The cut is a classic sporty messenger bag cut with a large flap. And HALFAR® sews the coffee sacks for this. The coarse burlap can therefore be felt by the bag user with every touch. While everything on the outside is designed with the coffee sack in mind, the inside of the bag is practical and contemporary. On request, the HanseBag can be fitted with a protective inlay for a notebook.
